Veterans Art Garden Event & Art Show
Join us for an evening of creativity, community, and connection at Makers Paradise RENO on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 5–9 PM.
Features: live music by Dave “Bambi” May and Tom “Fee” Falletti; a Veterans Art Garden project update; and a call for artists. Enjoy raffle prizes, a silent auction, food, and refreshments.
A special discount art sale will take place earlier in the day from 12–4 PM, with donations and proceeds benefiting the Veterans Art Garden Project at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home.

Explore Innovative Watercolor Techniques with Rene Eisenbart
Join nationally recognized artist Rene Eisenbart for a dynamic three-day workshop, Special Effects: Exploring Texture Using Watercolor Over Acrylic Substrates, hosted by the Sierra Watercolor Society. Taking place October 15–17, 2025, this hands-on experience is perfect for both seasoned professionals and emerging artists eager to expand their creative boundaries. Rene will guide participants through a process that includes acrylic base application, sketching, and experimental watercolor techniques to create layered, textured, and expressive artwork. A public demo will follow on October 18th.

Join Us for Weekly Figure Drawing!
Discover the art of figure drawing every Thursday from 6–9 PM at Makers Paradise inside Reno Public Market. Work with a live model in a relaxed, inspiring space. Easels, chairs, and tables provided—just bring your own supplies. Open to artists 18 and older.
$15 per session.

Weekly Wonders: Free Art Workshops at Makers Paradise
Join us every Friday from 3:00 to 4:30 PM at Makers Paradise for a free 90-minute art workshop designed for teens and adults with intellectual disabilities. This engaging, creative session is hosted by Arts for All Nevada, which provides all necessary supplies and a volunteer teacher to guide participants through each session.
No pre-registration is required—just arrive at the start of class! A chaperone/guardian is required for attendees.
